Got up the next day, called the front desk 1/2 hour before I checked out to have the room inspected, every thing good there.
She had me fill out a form to have my pet in the room, not a problem. Arrived at The Mardi Gras, verified I had a pet friendly room with the clerk at the front desk. I booked my room on0line through the Best Western website. Overall very good value for money if you are not spending all day here, and just using it as a base to sleep and get ready! Not sure what the laws in the US are about this but I thought that they would have that.Īpart from that my stay here was good, I never ate any food there apart from take away pizza that was good so cant really comment. My only concerns were that the pool area did not have a life guard ever, and obviously this would be something that I would worry about if I had children that were not great swimmers. Not really as close to everything as I would have liked and after a night out drinking the walk back from the nightclubs was long and hot! The rest of the hotel was a bit lacking and run down looking but the staff were friendly enough. The rooms were really quite big and had air con, everything was clean. The hotel was basic but met my needs and that of the others I stayed with. I stayed at this hotel in the summer of 2010 as part of a trip travelling from LA to San Fransisco.
